Paris

I have found a new cat to take care of. Her name is Paris, she is a Tonkinese Cat. I drove to Georgia to get her. She is 4 years old and very pampered. Her full name is Kittyfield Parisian Blue

Patch 1993 - 2007

Patch was killed on November 4th while I was at church. I came home and topped the hill to see his body lying in the middle of the intersection. He was cold when I got to him. (it had happened sometime before I got home) When I moved him to the porch I thought that I could feel him purring, but he was bleeding out of his ear and his lower jaw was broken in half at the front of the mouth. Patch was getting to be a more social cat, since Mittens has passed away. He liked to sit in my lap while I was on the computer or reading a book. I will miss Patch very much. Here is a video of the pictures that I had of Patch.

Mittens Stone

This is the picture that was used to make a stone for Mittens' Grave. And below that is the picture of the stone. I think it is really a great piece of art. It is made out of a stepping stone with glass making the pattern on the stone.

Mittens on video

Here is a video of Mittens before I found out he was sick.

Mittens 1993-2007

The past few months have been really hard to get through. Mittens was ill with what we thought were just a couple of bad teeth. What it turned out to be was cancer throughout the left side of his head.

I have put a video together of all the pictures I had taken of Him. He never liked to have noise in the house (radio playing) so I have not put any sound on the video.

In a few of the pictures Patch has made an appearance.

Practice 4/14/07

Kayla and I practiced with the keyboard this time. I made sure it was tuned to my tuner before I tuned to it. Luckily I could still use the tuner since the keyboard was right with the tuner. I still do not tune well by ear.

Anyway we figured that the keyboard set to cello had the best sound when we played together. Here is our practice piece:

And then we got to thinking about a beat to play too and we came up with this:

Remember this is practice and they still need a little work. But I am posting them to see if there is an improvment with the next time we play.

Last Day at Sea

Our last day on the ship was a day at sea. We played a little bingo, tried to win a free cruise. Visited with my Aunts and had a relaxing day. At dinner the waiters/waitresses sang us a song. Here is a clip of it.

And last but not least was our final creature a seal.

Antigua

Our next stop was Antigua. These were taken from our balcony.

We just had a relaxing day going through some of the shops on port, being in the sun and enjoying the great weather.

Our waiters and waitresses sang and danced for us at dinner.

After dinner we found a snake in our room waiting for us.

St Lucia

Our next stop was St. Lucia were we went on a zip line tour of the rain forest. I did not take the camera with us, and I’m regretting that now. It was GREAT flying through the trees feeling like a bird.

I also forgot to take pictures from our balcony due to the early departure for the zip lining.

When we got back to the ship we found out that the pyramid near the ship was a schoolhouse. I had to get some pictures of it.

We were lucky that the children were at lunch so we also got to go inside and take some pictures.

We had a great vantage point to view a ship that was used on the movie Pirates of the Caribbean when it came into port.

Our entertainment at dinner was the Destiny’s Back Street Boys.

This was also a formal dinner and we had some more pictures taken.

Upon arriving back at our room we found a rabbit.

Barbados

When we arrived at Barbados it was raining. Here is what we saw from our balcony.

The three stacks with ramps going to them are sugar bins. They still export sugar from here.

We took an excursion with a sub to the reefs 150 feet under the ocean. The pictures are not as clear as seeing it first hand but they can give you an idea of what we saw.

After we got back to the ship we had a light lunch and rested and then got ready for dinner.

At dinner part of the entertainment was a conga line.

When we arrived back at the room we found a Stingray.

Dominica

Our next port to stop at was Dominica.

This is the view from our balcony.

We ate breakfast in the Universe Dining Room and then went on shore.Just as we left the ship we had the opportunity to hear some of the local music played by this musician.

We signed up for an excursion with the Wacky Rollers. We took a ride in an open Humve through the rain forest.

This was our tour guide for the trip. He was very knowledgeable and informative. I am sorry that I did not catch his name.
The view of Dominica has we were going into the rainforest.

The Banyan Tree was very interesting.

Coffee trees were numerious.

There were many creeks on our way through the rainforest.

We also were taken to a sulfur spring, which was boiling up from the ground.

The landscape was very green.

This tree was a poor mans cinnamon tree.

At Ti Tou Gorge there was a hot waterfall.

We had a great time in Dominica. Once we got back to the ship we had a light lunch, rested awhile. I even went up to the Lido deck and laid out in the sun. and then got ready for one of the formal dinners.

After dinner we had some photos taken of us.

And we had one taken of us with Aunt Elaine and Aunt Esther.

Upon returning to our room we found an elephant.
