Patch was killed on November 4th while I was at church. I came home and topped the hill to see his body lying in the middle of the intersection. He was cold when I got to him. (it had happened sometime before I got home) When I moved him to the porch I thought that I could feel him purring, but he was bleeding out of his ear and his lower jaw was broken in half at the front of the mouth. Patch was getting to be a more social cat, since Mittens has passed away. He liked to sit in my lap while I was on the computer or reading a book. I will miss Patch very much.
